A fund has been established to support the grandchildren and son-in-law of former University of Alabama defensive coordinator Joe Kines in the wake of an auto accident that claimed the life of Susan Kines Langston, Kines’ daughter and the wife of Northridge High School football assistant coach Keith Langston, on Monday.

The fund is being administered by Bank of Tuscaloosa. Donations should be made payable to The Keith Langston for Benefit of Susan Kines Langston Fund and sent to Bank of Tuscaloosa, P.O. Box 2508, Tuscaloosa, AL, 35401, attention Jim Clayton.

Current UA defensive coordinator Kirby Smart, who played under Joe Kines when Kines coached at Georgia, set up the fund with assistance from Northridge head football coach Mike Smith.
