BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- Reece Foreman, a defensive end from Mt. San Antonio (Calif.) College, has signed to continue his collegiate career this fall at UAB, according to an announcement by Blazers' head coach Neil Callaway.
Foreman, a 6-2, 240-pound native of Los Angeles, recorded 48 tackles last season for Mt. SAC, including 26 solo stops. Foreman helped the Mounties to a 13-1 record in 2009 and the California Community College Athletic Association championship.
Foreman registered a season-best five tackles on four occasions, including in the 7-6 victory over College of San Mateo when the Mounties captured the state championship.
Coached by Robert Jastrab, Mt. SAC earned the mythical national title as champion of the nation's largest two-year college football association.
