TALLADEGA, Ala. (AP) — Kevin Harvick has made it to victory lane for the first time since winning the Daytona 500 in 2007. Harvick on Sunday snapped a 115-race winless streak by nipping Jamie McMurray at the finish line at Talladega Superspeedway. Juan Pablo Montoya finished third.

TALLADEGA, Ala. (AP) — Brad Keselowski is leaving Talladega with a win in the Nationwide Series race, a victory that capped a wild end to a NASCAR doubleheader. He needed a green-white checkered finish for the win. Joey Logano was second and Kevin Harvick third.

TALLADEGA, Ala. (AP) — NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick says he is days from announcing contract extensions for crew chiefs Alan Gustafson and Chad Knaus (kuh-NOWS'). Hendrick has been working on an extension with Knaus since late last season. Gustafson is currently crew chief for Mark Martin in the No. 5 car.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Liezel Huber are a big reason the United States has advanced into the Fed Cup final. The pair scored a straight-set doubles win to help the Americans beat Russia in Birmingham. The Americans will meet defending champion Italy.
