Birmingham, Alabama.  Really hot Thursday; Some weekend storms.

Not as many storms out there today.  Actually there are no storms at all in the eastern counties with all the action lined up about 50 miles each side of US Highway 82.  So folks in Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Jefferson and surrounding areas may get a brief downpour over the next few hours.  Virtually all of the showers should dissipate by about 8 pm.  Thursday will be very hot throughout central Alabama with highs between 95 and 100 degrees.  Then shower chances start increasing Friday.
