Birmingham, Alabama.  Knocking down the heat with some storms.

The radar screen has many bright colors today, and they are covering a much larger percentage of central Alabama compared to the past few days.Yes the pattern has changed, and it looks to remain more active through the weekend.  It will not rain all of the time, but given the deep tropical moisture in the atmosphere, when it does, it can come down really hard.  At least the clouds and showers will hold high temperatures down.
