Montgomery, AL (WIAT) Several hundred former employees and supporters for electronic bingo rallied in Montgomery Friday afternoon.
Bus loads pulled in just before 11AM to the empty parking lot across from the Supreme Court building on Dexter Avenue.
The rally was organized by political figures who are sympathetic to the county's high unemployment numbers and the plight of the people who who have just recently joined their ranks.
Many in attendance spoke passionately about their feelings of Governor Bob Riley and the Supreme Court Justices who authorized a raid of the track earlier this month.
More than 800 machines were seized after Anti Gambling Task Force director John Tyson declared the machines to be illegal gaming devices.
