HOOVER, Ala. (AP) — Dan Forsman made two eagles on his way to a tournament-record round of 10-under 62 Saturday and trails leader Bobby Clampett by one shot in the Regions Charity Classic Champions Tour event.
Clampett shot an 8-under 64 and is at 15-under 129 following the second round of the three-day tournament at Ross Bridge golf course near Birmingham.
Forsman is alone in second place, followed by Peter Senior (66) at 13-under 131 and Joey Sindelar (67) at 12-under 132.
Forsman bogeyed the second hole, but quickly rebounded with three birdies and an eagle over the next six holes. He made his second eagle on No. 16.
The 62 broke the record of 63 set in the tournament's inaugural year of 1992 and matched six times since.
