Marine Funeral

Friends and family say a final goodbye to 22 year old Lance Corporal Thomas Rivers, Jr. The Hoover native was killed in combat last month.

they gathered at Briarwood Baptist Church to remember Rivers. His burial took place at the Alabama National Cemetary in Montevallo. Family Pastor, David Lewis, says the Rivers family is devastated but it's comforting to know he's with his Father in Heaven.
